Organisational Improvements |

Over the last few years the Centre has been reviewing its service provisions.
Following evaluation, we have taken the opportunity to review and improve policies and procedures, ranging from case management, supervision & support for staff and volunteers to office reorganisation. We have compiled the revised policies into an office manual in line with the Legal Aid Board franchise requirements.
As a part of the office reorganisation we have been able to improve the waiting room area for clients. The Single Regeneration Budget project allowed the premises to be renovated and to improve also accessibility for wheelchair users.
We are currently looking for funds to make further improvements to the reception area where clients wait. This is especially important as a number of clients have disabilities.
Other improvements have involved getting handouts from other Centres including chairs, desks and filing cabinets. We thank Paddington LC, FIAC and CRASH respectively for their help.
We thank Nicolas Wines, of Old Brompton Road, for donating the refreshments for the open day.
We also thank London Lighthouse who donated their up-to-date NACAB information system when they, unfortunately, had to close their benefits section.
