Q I have a rent act protected tenancy - how much is my landlord allowed to increase the rent?
A If you have a pre 15th January 1989 tenancy you may be a tenant who has protection under the rent acts.
If your landlord applied to a rent officer after 1.2.99 then the rent increase is limited to:
